Richard Stringfield, of Carolina and Tennessee We are looking for connections between the family of Richard Stringfield and Ezekiel Stringfield, that are found in northeast Tennessee and western North Carolina; the Stringfield's of southeastern North Carolina; and the family of James Jefferson Stringfield, that is found in centeral and southern Tennessee. I've seen turn-of-the-century photographs of members of the W.W.Stringfield family, from Ashville, N.C., and there is little doubt that they are related to my grandfather, a descendant of James Jefferson Stringfield -- the problem is figuring out exactly where !!
