This site originated to trace the genealogy of my seventh-great-grandfather, Thomas Boon, Planter, who appears to have died in Northampton County, North Carolina in January or February of 1800. It has grown to include extensive research on many BOONE immigrants to America, prior to 1800, and extends, geographically, from Newfoundland to Barbados, and from Europe to California. This is an active, research-oriented site, that needs your input as much as you need our collected information. The family groups are regularly updated, using the information that we locate in our travels, and information that is supplied by site-surfers, like YOU !! In my nearly 23 years of reseach, I have collected information on many of Thomas's descendants, but have been unable to conclusively connect him to any earlier ancestor, or to any other immigrant branch. . . . So . . . my "new" focus is to locate as many of the early immigrants as possible, to try to connect them to their European ancestors, and hope that somewhere in there is the missing link to me !!
HELP ME IF YOU CAN !!
