John had died, by this time, so his share was distributed to his children)

( NOTE: In addition to the Census and County data ordinarily used to develop family groups, some information related to ALLEN BOON and his descendants, is extracted from "The Boone Cousins of Northampton" by Joe and Janet Boone, a manuscript dated 08/12/1989, found in the Northampton Co. Library. They are direct descendents of this line.)

Allen died without a will, and his son, Henry, was executor of his estate. Allen owned property known as "the Boone Place" where Joseph Boone, manuscript author, was born, and sold part of the tract to his son, John Wesley, 12/6/1859 for $450. John Wesley Boon bought the remainder from Allen Boon's estate, Shadrack Grant, and Lemuel Boyce on 12/4/1872. JAMES, the youngest child of Allen and Mary Rose Boone, lived on a farm in Occoneechee Neck into the early 1900's.

83. DOROTHEA (Dolly) BOON: B: abt. 1805; D: bef. 1859; M(1st): 5/7/1834 ELIJAH STEPHENSON: B: abt 1803; D: bef.1859; M(2nd): unknown: Norman indicates that she lived with the second husband, near Memphis, Tennessee.

84. PENELOPE BOON: B: abt 1808; D: abt. 1859; M: 2/11/1834, JAMES BRADLEY: B: ??; D: ??; They had at least 3 children.

85. DAVISON or DAWSON BOON: B: abt 1810 ; D: bef. 3/4/1844; M: 12/8/1834, MARY WOODWARD: B:

86. TURNER BOON: B: abt. 1812; D: bef. 1859; M: 2/3/1832; PENELOPE DAUGHTRY: B: abt. 1812; D: bef. 1859; Norman says they left 4 children, names presently unknown.

87. STERLING BOON: B: --/--/1815 ; D: < 1895 ; M: 03/15/1847 in Northampton Co., CATHERINE CAPELL: B: --/--/1814 ; D: < 1895 ; (in 1860 census, Thomas and Rebecca also lived with Sterling and his wife )
