The middle name, "Cinda", later reduced to simply "S", is drawn from the will of her father, John Nicholas (Bk.3-179) in March 1816, where she and her two sisters, Mary Francis Nicholas and Martha Ricks Nicholas, are identified. ELIZABETH had been married twice before, and had at least one child in each of the marriages. She married THOMAS BYNUM on 04/27/1826, when she was 17 years old. Her first child, JOHN B. BYNUM, was born on 09/06/1827. John died at the age of 29 years, on 10/02/1856. She married again, at the age of 23, to WYATT M. EZELL, on 01/09/1834, and had at least one child, MARY WYATT EZELL (10/24/1834-03/03/1866), who graduate from the Greensboro Female Institute on 06/--/1853 and who married Edward Conigland on 04/15/1855. 64. JAMES BOON, JR.: B: 1805 ; D: abt. 1884; M:08/04/1828 MARY ANN NEWSOM: B: 1812 ; D: aft. 10/12/1850, dau of James Newsom and --------- Liles (her grandmother was Mary Liles). They had 10 children. James was a "lunatic" from 1859 until his death in 1884.
