WILLIAM, son of Thomas, and his Descendants:(Updated 06/99 with information from Norman and Mary Catherine Flythe) 1. WILLIAM BOON: B: ca. 1749 ; D: May 1795 ; M: ca. 1773 ???; ANNA WINBORNE: B: abt 1753 ; D: aft 1795, dau. of William Winborne, Jr. and Sarah ??; William has died before his father, THOMAS, makes out his will in 1796, but at that time, all of William's children are under age. Their names are listed in WILLIAM's will of 1794. He also listed his father, THOMAS, and James Winborne, Sr. as Executors. Those two men offer William's will for probate in June 1795, and James Winborne qualified as executor in September court. Anna Boone was appointed guardian of John, Sally, Penny, Polly, Lemuel, and Patsey Boon ("orphans of the deceased", so was she their mother??) in December 1795 court. Son William chose another guardian. NOTE: ( In his will, William makes a group bequest to "the whole of my daughters" without listing all of their names. The names and location of most of William's children (in Missouri in 1826) is based on "Power of Attorney" papers filed in Northampton Co. in 1826, when William's brother Thomas died, and his property was distributed to heirs, William's children receiving equal 1/8th shares of WILLIAM's 1/9th share of THOMAS's estate.). 11. ALICE ( ELSIE) BOON: B: 4/22/1774 ; D: between 1860-1870 ; M: --/--/1799 in Southampton Co.,Va. ENOCH FLYTHE: B: abt. 1777; and son of John Flythe (Fly) They lived in Missouri in 1826. 12. WILLIAM BOON: B: abt 1777 D: aft. 1800; William contests his father's will in June 1795, but withdrew and the property was divided according to the will in December 1775. He still has a disagreement with his mother (or stepmother ?) Anna, and petitions the court in June 1775 to have John Nicholas appointed as his guardian. William sells a Negro woman and child in Northampton on 3/27/1800, and lists himself as a resident of Davidson Co., Tennessee. 13. JOHN BOON: B: abt 1778 ;D: after 1826 ; He lived in Northampton County in 1826. 14. SARAH (Sally) BOON: B: abt 1780-82; Lived in Missouri in 1826. 15. LEMUEL BOON: B: abt 1786 ; D: after 1826; Lived in Missouri in 1826. 16. PENELOPE (Penny) BOON: B: 1786-1790; Lived in Missouri in 1826. 17. MARY (Polly) BOON: B: 1786-1790; D: aft. 1826; M: aft 1795, ??? MCCOY: B: bef.1790; D: bef. 1824; Mary is listed as Mary McCoy, widow in 1823 papers dealing with her uncle Thomas's death.
