His lands were confiscated following the rebellion. In Oct. 1677, Hercules signed a petition on behalf of the wife and children of William West, a rebel, to have his estate returned to William West's wife and children.
He died about 1684, as in 1685 his wife Susannah marries Robert Brock. Circumstances of his death are unknown. Susannah Calcott Brock was born about 1645 and died in 1727, leaving a will.
