He died in Carolina by 11/4/1697 BERESFORD, Richard, Mr. Esq., Merchant, arrived in Carolina prior to 12/6/1683. Was brother of John Beresford, and owned ¼ interest in "Mary of Carolina". (ship ??) Was an agent for the Carolina Colony, with Joseph Boone, in 1716. BERESFORD, Michael, marries Susannah Boone, 3/4/1739/40, in ChristChurch Parish Records.
